Contaminated

Contaminated is an interdisciplinary work combining dance and text that examines the lived realities of women in the Global South, with a focus on India. It explores gender violence, territorial conflict, and intersectional feminism as lived experience rather than theory. The piece questions the fragile idea of “safety” and the conditioned hesitations carried by women of color. Built through physical and vocal improvisation, object work, and text, the performance emerges as a raw act of resistance and survival.
