A group of four women who met in Drama School Mumbai, realised we are delusional enough to believe our big feelings can change the world, and made a fierce creative pact together: to tell stories that center women's experiences in our own odd, outrageous ways.We celebrate contradictions. We take up space.
We laugh at the idea that women need saving, then write plays about it. We are just four women helping each other stay brave reclaiming the "abla" experience.
A piece set in rural Haryana about three unlikely women who end up at the slightly debaucherous, very entertaining, and very, very forbidden show of Renu Chaudhary- a folk Ragni performer.
Can they dare to be entertained in a public space as men would, and for a second, see what life is like outside the *gasp* pallu?
